This was the first Canadian location for this international brand of authentic Mediterranean Restaurants.  The Azkadenya brand provides fast casual experience embracing middle eastern hospitality, cuisine, and culture.  The owners selected an existing unit on the trendy Queen West strip for a bold first impression.  The unit, situated in an existing two storey building was long but narrow, typical of the Queen West area.  Naturally, the main dinning room is situated at the front of the restaurant off of a modest vestibule.  The open kitchen is situated in the middle of unit with a long section of banquettes for additional seating, adjacent to it.  The back of house and washrooms are situated at the rear.  The interior design incorporates a vibrant colour scheme with both traditional middle eastern motifs and imagery, presented in collage compositions.
