The True North Grit brand and wellness facility are dedicated to those who choose to persevere, who put their nose to the grindstone everyday and are relentless in their pursuit to do and be better.  Their new wellness and fitness facilities have been designed in an existing multi level industrial building. The main floor program includes a lounge/coffee bar, child care, change rooms, administrative, physio therapy, personal training and fitness studio 1. The lower level program includes a large recovery/yoga area, fitness studio 2, a sauna, change rooms, storage and utility areas.  Sustainability is a fundamental value to the brand and interior design.  The interior design concept incorporates contrasting light and dark colours for the floors, walls, and ceiling surfaces, complimented by natural wood grains in the furniture and other surfaces.  All materials will be either locally sourced, carry a low carbon footprint, or have a recycled content.  The juxtaposition of a new build out while maintaining the character of the existing industrial building will allow for an authentic interior environment.
